Chapter 21
The verdict is unfortunatly what i thought it would be. I wanted Tom to be innocent but i knew they would charge him even thought he didnt do it.

The verdict is Tom was guilty.I Thought that he was also going to be guilty even though it was clear he was inocent. The people of Maycomb will not change their ways towards blacks and this case is no exception.

You're right, Zach...it is unfortunate that Tom was found guilty. The whole time I was reading about the trial, I thought that Atticus did such a great job trying to prove Tom's innocence. But like Molly said, the people of Maycomb were set in their ways, as was most of society. Tom Robinson was no exception.
