Final Thoughts

This was the first time I read this book and I really enjoyed it. I thought the blog was an interesting way to share information about the book and to connect to a lot of different people across the U.S. I liked reading what you all thought as you read the book at the same time I was reading it. All of you had a lot of insight into the book and made good remarks to the questions posted. I hope you enjoyed participating in this blog!!!!

Final Reflections

This has been a very enjoyable experience for me. The first time I read this book was in 9th grade. Reading To Kill a Mockingbird from a teacher's perspective was much different. I enjoyed the opportunity to discuss the novel with all of you. Have a great remainder of the school year...keep reading!

Final Thoughts

What a lovely experience this has been for me. I have never blogged before, but it was much more enjoyable than I imagined. The first time I read To Kill A Mockingbird was in the 9th grade. Having the opportunity to read it again and have such great discussions with all of you has been a pleasure. Good Luck with the rest of your school year and continue reading!

Final Thoughts

I have truly enjoyed reading To Kill a Mockingbird with all of you. It was interesting for me to read this book with a different perspective in mind. Instead of reading for my own understanding, I was reading to look for possible misunderstandings that other readers might have with the text. This story is full of complicated ideas, feelings, and events, but I think that is why it is such a classic piece of literature. There are so many viewpoints that the reader must consider, but ultimately in the end it is up to you what you choose to believe. I have really enjoyed this experience and I hope the rest of you have too!

Final Reflection

I really enjoyed reading this book. I remember reading the book when I was in high school and enjoying it. This time when I read it, I looked at the situations in a different way. I feel that it is a wonderful description of what life was like during that time period. It helps put the reader in the shoes of different characters. I hope that everyone enjoyed participating in the blog.

Final Thoughts

Overall I really enjoyed reading To Kill a Mockingbird. I thought the book was well written. When I read this book in high school I did not appreciate it as much as I did the second time around. I would read it again for pleasure. I think it is a good book for people to read. The story really opened my eyes to how things were in the 1930’s regarding prejudice and discrimination. I hope everyone enjoyed reading this story as much as I did.
